It has a three piece structure that includes body, hardened ferule and nut. These fittings are known for their strength for working precisely and preventing the nut to loose under high pressure, strain and vibration.
Working Principle:
• On screwing the nut on to the body, the ferule grips the pipe in position and perceptibly bites into the pipe.
• On being fully tightened, the ferule bows slightly in the middle and acts as a spring.
• The spring action of the ferule keeps a constant tension between the body and the nut.
Range:
Our Hydraulic fittings are available from 6mmOD of Tube to 42mm OD of Tube in low pressure series and 6mmOD of Tube to 38mm OD of Tube in high pressure series. These are also available for use with nominal bore of tube from 1/8″ to 3″.
